Meow was unable to sleep with all his fears taking form in his dreams and thoughts. To put the mind to rest means the entry of thoughts and fears thats take over, hence he drives himself like a workaholic to constantly keep the mind occupied. Its pouring in South India for the past few days and the sun has taken a holiday. Amma gently reminded him, “I’ve given you a live orchestra to listen to, why then do you choose to listen to the incessant chatter of the mind?”

Thank you Jay, Amma enthralls us every time in her play with words, and still she feels the English language falls short in many ways compared to its European roots. Once a way Amma glorifies Sanskrit and the depth of each word cannot be filled into an Oxford Dictionary. Its time we learnt Sanskrit as well.
